In the format of a crisis intervention, this site is dedicated to helping people who are considering suicide get through their crisis. It grows out of the author's 14 years work with online (and telephone) crisis counseling and online support groups on depression and suicide. Includes links as well as lots of helpful information.

The site includes essays on postpartum illness cause, prevention and treatment; a worldwide social support network for those wish to join a support group; a guide on anxiety and panic attacks; instructions on how new mothers can build social support; related educational books and videos for new mothers and fathers; valuable postpartum links; a bulletin board; and one of the most complete bibliographies on PPD with a keyword search, etc. A great resource on this problem.

This beautiful and comprehensive website provides an overview of depressive and bipolar disorders and their symptoms. Informative, educational information, online forums, local 'real-world' support group information, a bookstore specializing in media about depression and a newsletter are provided. Special areas are devoted to related issues including suicide and adolescents. National DBSA membership program and chapter information is also included. This is an informative site for the patient as well as their family members.
