It provides information on how to recognize warning signs of suicide, how to ask about suicidal thoughts and/or intentions, how to respond and where to refer. Features include immediate connection to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and specific resources for military/Veterans, those who identify as LGBTQ, Spanish speaking individuals, persons who are deaf or hard of hearing, and includes direct access to national and Missouri resource websites.

TheHopeLine is an easy-to-use, free app that allows you to get the help you need, when you need it. Connect with a trained staff member or volunteer HopeCoach via telephone call, or online one-on-one chat interaction and discuss whatever issue or problem you may be facing. TheHopeLine can help 24 hours a day, seven days a week, worldwide.

Operation Reach Out

Military Community Awareness - introduces OPERATION REACH OUT, a smartphone app aimed at preventing suicide among military personnel and veterans. Developed by a team of suicide prevention experts, under the supervision of the primary author, Lawrence Shapiro, Ph.D.. OPERATION REACH OUT is designed to: * Encourage people to reach out for help when they are having suicidal thoughts. * Help those who are concerned about family members, spouses, or fellow service members who may be suicidal. * Provide a personal contact help center. * Provide activities to help people who are depressed stay connected to others.
